By- Stephen King

Genre- Memoir, Science-fiction, Horror, Romance

My Rating- 5/5

‘It is a memoir narrated by a guitarist Jamie Morton. It includes the story of a Reverand Charles Daniel Jacobs, who became the minister of the local church at Harlow when the narrator was a child. Reverand Jacobs gradually became the favourite of all the residents of Harlow. He taught Children in the MYF every Thursday, sang songs, taught verses from Bible, showed them his new inventions and much more. Jacobs was a very curious person about electricity. He invented many new appliances and small toys with his skill in the electronics.

Jamie started in a band as a guitarist and slowly it became his passion. He played actually well. He had 3 elder brothers and one elder sister. Once his brother Conrad Or simply Con lost his voice in an accident. But Reverand Jacobs brought his voice back with the small machine that he had invented.

Everything was going fine when a terrible accident took place in the life of the Reverand. He left Harlow and Jamie could not meet him for a long time.

When Jamie met the Reverand again, he had started to heal people with his electronic machines. He also healed Jamie from a serious disease.

But Everything is not fine with Reverand Jacobs. Jamie has its own secrets and suspicions about the Rev.

But at last Jamie faces a situation which changes the course of the whole story.’

An amazing novel. A mixture of thrill, science, technology, romance and horror. The master-storyteller Stephen King has written another masterpiece in the form of Revival. A very engaging story. it will carry you into another world.

A must-read, as usual, by Stephen King, King of the Horrors.
